Are your customers doing badly? Take their education into your own hands
Sometimes everything is going downhill. Especially in recent years: the coronavirus epidemic, the war in Europe, inflation, recession, suddenly the need to save even more (!) electricity and gas... For several years now, smart people have been discussing some "digital transformation" — and it's still unclear exactly what it is and how to do it. But it is clear that it is necessary.
So, in general, everything is complicated. But you know, when clients are nervous and have no support, this is an opportunity for you. A chance to become a supporter, to explain what is happening and what to do next.
We recently helped the Swiss company Luxoft with its crisis communication. We prepared a series of infographics and a poster based on them. Here is what they are about:
- What is a recession, and what are its causes?
- Why is the current recession not as bad as the one in 2007?
- How is it affecting the financial sector?
- How can banks soften the impact?

Write down a recipe for good visual content that will be helpful to customers
- Gather the expertise within your company,
- fill it with a pinch of willingness to share this expertise,
- infuse on a content agency that knows how to talk about money,
- mix it with communications between your experts and the agency.
- After a couple of weeks of careful mixing, you'll end up with simple, clear, concise, compelling content that will help customers.
For example, the one we prepared for Luxoft.
5 stages of preparing successful visual (and any other) content
Several steps of content creation that ensure its goal achievement.
- Understand what your goal is
- Communicate your needs and vision of the result to the responsible person, whether in-house or contractor.
- Get feedback on point 2 from the responsible person.
- Agree on the final meeting.
- Communicate during the work. This is very, very important. Thank God we had no problems with Luxoft in this aspect. We were constantly in contact with their team.
Educate your customers, and they will trust you
Here's how it works. Crisis. Customers (or future customers) have questions. Problems. Uncertainty. Their competitors are losing money, and bankruptcy is looming over their heads. They are trying to find ways to save their business. Often, they can't find the right expertise. And here you are, putting everything on the shelves for them with straightforward and clear explanations: Bro, do you have a problem? Competitors have already increased production, but you can't? Here's a step-by-step guide. Is logistics your weak link? We have people who can help. Is it the tenth time a bank has rejected your loan application? Read a very clear course from our expert on how to remove all claims from the bank.
If your company needs very clear educational content for clients, we at Top Lead know how to prepare it. Write to marina.budnik@toplead.com.ua, and we'll see how we can help.
